These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our websites, mobile applications, software, dashboards, APIs, datasets, reports, and related products and services.
By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Services.
All information provided through the Services, including product data, ingredients, nutritional information, suitability indicators, analytics, reports, AI-generated outputs, guidance, and recommendations, is provided for informational and educational purposes only.
The Services rely on data obtained from third-party sources, public databases, manufacturers, retailers, product labels, and user inputs. You acknowledge that consuming food products, using skincare or cosmetic products, administering products to pets, or making health, dietary, or commercial decisions involves inherent risks, including allergic reactions, adverse effects, financial loss, regulatory consequences, or other harm.
By using the Services, you voluntarily assume all risks, including risks arising from inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, misinterpreted, or AI-generated information.
You agree to use the Services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
You are responsible for the accuracy of information you provide and for all decisions and actions taken based on your use of the Services.
You must not misuse, disrupt, scrape, reverse engineer, interfere with, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Services, nor use the Services in violation of applicable laws or regulations.
The Services compile data from publicly available sources, third-party providers, manufacturers, retailers, research publications, and user submissions.
ScanGeni Ventures does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, currency, or ongoing availability of data, products, or third-party claims. All such information should be independently verified.

If you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities conducted under your account.
You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or security breach.
Subscriptions are auto-renewable in-app purchases processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play.
Billing, renewals, cancellations, and refunds are governed exclusively by Apple or Google. Free trials convert to paid subscriptions unless canceled before expiry. ScanGeni Ventures does not directly process payments, cancellations, or refunds.
All content, software, algorithms, models, datasets, analytics, trademarks, branding, and intellectual property associated with the Services are owned by or licensed to ScanGeni Ventures.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, scrape, reverse engineer, or exploit any part of the Services without prior written consent.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ScanGeni Ventures shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or exemplary damages arising from your use of the Services.
In no event shall ScanGeni Ventures’ total liability exceed the amount paid by you for the Services during the six (6) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ScanGeni Ventures, its affiliates, officers, employees, and partners from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, or expenses arising from your use of the Services, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of third-party rights.
ScanGeni Ventures may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time, without notice, if you violate these Terms.
Upon termination, all rights granted to you immediately cease.
The Services are not intended for individuals under the age of 13, or the minimum age required by applicable law in your jurisdiction.
By using the Services, you represent that you meet the applicable age requirement.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
Disputes shall first be attempted to be resolved through informal negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be settled by binding arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, seated in Bengaluru, Karnataka.
You waive any right to participate in a class action, class-wide arbitration, or representative proceeding. All disputes must be brought on an individual basis.
The Services are operated from India. You are responsible for compliance with local laws applicable in your jurisdiction. Access to the Services from jurisdictions where their use is illegal is prohibited.
ScanGeni Ventures is not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, internet outages, regulatory changes, third-party service failures, or acts of government.
ScanGeni Ventures may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
If you access the Services under a separate written agreement with ScanGeni Ventures, including enterprise, pilot, data, or API agreements, the terms of that agreement shall prevail in the event of any conflict.
